Anyone know if these are still working? I'm riding from Eastbourne to Amberley and back in the morning and it would be good to know so I can top up when needed.

right hand box marked water points, i have tried to find some of these but they aren't easy but this site does give you grid references

The one at Southease just outside the church is atill working and ok a week ago ... that's the only one I know cos it's local

aye, the info on bike downs is spot on.

did it overnight last year: hoping to do it in a day later this year. do you reckon it be impracticable due to foot traffic on a bank holiday w/e? thinking about a c.6am start @ winchester...

All taps were working and pretty easy to spot when I did it about 4 weeks ago. Another vote for all the info on bikedowns!
