they were perfect in the East this morning. Its absolutley hammering down now though, so I would expect it to be quite exciting tommorrow.

It'll be lively at present.
Raining like mad from Dorset to East Sussex inclusive.
Managed to get my weekly grass cut done at the bottom of Ditchling Beacon this morning before it started. Well worth a look left if you chance a ride. Great job even if I do say so myself. Knocked 15 mins off my best time by racing the storm. I'm rad me :O)

Brighter and a tail wind late tomorrow.

I predict a challenging morning though.

I'm hoping it's OK by the weekend, got a mega loop planned around Eastbourne end.

I really wouldn't fancy it tomorrow after all the rain we're having today! Unless you're a fan of hard, slippery chalk. Was nice out last night though, bone dry everywhere.

Winchester end has been very dry and hard but today's rain will make some of the surfaces quite slippery I think.

There's a vey short section after you cross the A272 for the first time that's not great, once you've crossed the road and headed on down the SDW you turn right just after a farm and at that point it's very very slippery but quickly clear up.

Was there on Monday night and was rideable.

Has anyone got a garmin trace for the South Downs way? I've not ridden it for a couple of years

was very wet last night but not that muddy as it hadn't really soaked into the hard ground.

Ollybus, its just that. Start at Winchester, ride to the other end, ride back to the start and repeat. 400 mile mountain bike picnic. What better way to spend the weekend?
