On monday after much debate I bought new Revs for my HT
On tuesday I went for first ride-suitably impressed, good decision think I
On wednesday my son demands a go on HT and with his usual care , props bike in garden so that it immediately falls on a flowerpot. Flowerpot survives, forks do not. One stanchion gets a scratch about 2" above seals. It does not seem too deep and it is the damping leg [right]. Is this going to cause me a lot of grief and is there anything I can do about it? [apart from killing son]
it's not leaking (you would have said?) so it's fine, stop needlessly worrying and just ride it.
Bit of clear nail varnish rub down with ultrafine wet and dry, job done.
Cheers I think I'll send son to fetch nail varnish!
sell your son

Yeah, leave them until the seals are *REALLY* ****ed ๐
You can also use clear car laquer from a touch up kit.
