For those that's rode there, what is the ideal non electric bike and bike travel considering you need to go up as well down?

It's been a good while since I've been, but I used to ride there on a Nukeproof Mega.

These days I'd want an enduro bike or long travel trail bike, but I've seen people on hardtails, XC bikes and full DH bikes too. Depends how hard you and fast you want to go.

What do you have currently?

You'll have a hoot on whatever you have to bring along. Ideal, probably an enduro bike (or reasonably burly trail bike) but you can find trails to suit anything from gravel to DH.

Ask Mike or Lewis at 20Twenty. Good lads and know the trails well.

Currently riding a 150/160 trail bike. Thinking about upping to an enduro bike (Something 160/170 or 170/170) but don't know if it would make a difference....

You'd be fine on a 150/160 - I'm sure that was Enduro a few years ago anyway!

I've done Scolty on everything from a Trek 990 (26", 70+ deg HA) hardtail up to my Deviate Claymore - and had fun all the way. It's got its share of techy stuff but I think you're probably pretty much optimal on that (assuming decent geometry etc).
