Needs a schamfered bottom bracket if i remember it correctly (some frame-butchery to fit)
Schlumpf have been around for an age and never seemed to catch on that people aren't interested in shifting gears by clicking your heels.
Hammerschmidt would not work to well on a SC vpp design as it's designed around the middle ring and a HS is designed around the granny so you would get bad pedal feedback.
I can't believe that the STW ods don't have 2peneth worth to say about this gadget.

I think Kinetics sell them don't they? They seem to be more common on Bromptons than anything else, and agreed that they need bb modification. There's stuff in the FAQs about whether there's room with the chainrings.
I've not used one.
