Iv brought a scandal 26 18in frame to build up from scratch. I think iv Found some forks that are right but the steerer is cut to 193mm. should this be long enough?

18in frame has 105mm headtube.
Headset = 40mm?
Stem = 50mm?
Sounds fine.

Yep...eg 35mm headset, 40mm Stem, 105mm HT = 175mm

My Inbred has same length headtube and with 210mm steerer. I've got 48mm spacers + stem so you'll have plenty of space.
edit: You have a Horses Mouth answer in the time it's taken to measure.

cool thanks, so most run without spacers below the stem?
