A big frog. Swimming down the trail on the first climb at Cwmcarn today. Safely removed to the safety of the bushes. Trail builders have done a great job at Cwmcarn though, even with so much water the trail's holding up really well.
I was always late for school when it rained because I used to stop and move the snails off the path,busy grownups just stepped on them.
it was a longish time ago,but well done for the frog,and thanks for making me remember the snails in SE london.
def more grateful than the old lady upstairs I pulled out of her burning flat a few years ago.
Never got a card,a plant,not even a thank you.they moved away after that,but still,being neighbours you'd think she'd know my address.

I spotted 2x dead slow worms on Cwmcarn xc 2weeks ago:-( some strava hero had mowed em down.
cancelled that out: squirrel went under my (rear!) wheel in the churchyard this afternoon, it ran off squealing, if it survived it must have been badly damaged
