Santa Cruz making and e-hybrid pub bike?

Not sure who would buy one personally other than Audi driving dentists.

Yeah, that makes sense for an ebike. Does it have mudguard eyelets though?

I llke it, it's hilly where I live and if I lived a *bit closer to town I'd be in the market for one to try and reduce car journeys. The thing that put's me off most e bikes is the weight and the fact you're stuffed if you run out of battery. I've just built a flat bar bike for this kind of thing, that weighs about the same.

*5 miles to the nearest one horse town and 15 to a city, that is really a town.

EDIT - $5,999 for cheapest flat bar build. Maybe not.

This is a Santa Cruz though. Can you not get exactly the same bike from someone else at half the price?

Wouldn't leave that in the bike shed at work.

Only available in North America I think, possibly due to the speed limits here?

The 28mph/15.5mph limit is a software update,

May be, but that what the insta post is saying (Available in NA) and non of the UK stockists have mentioned it, that I’ve seen.
