Always wanted a HH baselayer - iconic stuff - thanks jsync - £4 postage though, but sub £13 is a very good price.

Bought a NorthFace down puffer jacket today for £100 reduced from £180 from John Lewis. Cheaper than in the North Face shop. Quite a good deal I thought.

What do people think of this turbo from halfrauds?

we have one and in all honesty it is better than my Tacx Blue Motion that is twice the price. Basic design (screw thread to lock bike in and spring-loaded roller rather than fancy quick action levers) but has a useful range of remote resistance adjustment and is FAR more stable and secure. T'other half can do out-the-saddle efforts on it, which I wouldnt dare do on my Tacx with my hulking 65kgs.

Not a bad price, think we got it even (but not massively) cheaper last year when it was "half price + extra 10% off".

I've got one and it does the job.

There are adjustable resistance levels and it's easy to set up and store.

It's my first turbo so I've no experience of using another but it's ok for a quick spin if time / weather is against you.

Still hate the things though, rather get wet and cold on the MTB than use the turbo personally.

Just got myself a Garmin 910XT, with HRM, from Amazon for a decent price. Would have posted, but they sold out in a few mins.

Along with the issue wind proof smock, I virtually lived on one for 9 years.
Great bits of kit IMHO..

just bought one for a mate who was away from internet (theyve already paid us for it!), it sold out in about 5 minutes (the manfrotto tripod went in about 3). Did the same with a Forerunner 610 on christmas eve.

I was quite happy with my 310XT, but seeing they go for about £80 on eBay, and I had some Amazon vouchers, it seemed rude not to upgrade. I was planning on holding out for the 920XT, but that's going to be waaaay too pricey for quite a while I reckon.

Nah. I'm happy to have got a decent price, and as long as I get a decent price for the 310XT, it's all good.

Probably sell the new HRM, tho.

I've been hugely tempted by by one of these Intense Tracer 275 full builds but I've finally admitted they don't make them big enough for me. Still, under £2k seems an absolute steal given that the frame alone cost that a year ago.

Looks great on paper... but that only balances the fact that it looks horrendous in the photo 😕

Just got back from snow & rock, was hoping to pick up some windstopper gloves but the discounts weren't worth bothering with

If anyone sees any windstopper gloves reduced anywhere I'd be grateful

Depending on your sizing, and colour preference, there are some Gore ones for £25-ish on Amazon.
