Looking to replace my old RO's and want decent power as I'm a bit of a biffer.

Are Saint any good? Never had Shimano brakes before but Halfords have 10% off so approx £235 for a set..

I found them to be brilliant and piss easy to bleed.

Dunno if it's still the case but XT four pots were about 50 quid cheaper earlier in the year and almost identical.

A mate has saint four pots on his touring bike, he reports really nice lever feel and easy modulation.
Dead easy to hold a wheel on the point of locking.

Fit & forget. Bleed them once a year which takes all of 15 minutes. If you use the original shimano pads they last forever even in Peak District grinding paste. Loads of power and plenty of modulation

Not much to add from above apart from the XT's are in no way comparable to Saints. I got mine from a guy on Pinkbike for £235 and for an extra £60 2 x 203mm SaintvRotors

Yes, they’re the nuts.
Reliable, powerful, controllable.
