Once again the driver failed to stop. Really?

This is yet another sad reflection of our society.

Sad day.

If that was the junction in the bbc link where the accident happened it looks like a very poor design and a fatality waiting to happen

It's not the best junction but I wouldn't say its dNgerous
Just drivers in Derby are amongst the worst anywhere nobody ever seems capable of getting in the right lane
I used to live near here (long time ago I loved in a house now demolished exactly in the middle of where the junction now is) moved out to the suburbs so my commute to work didn't involve going through town, it was too stressful trying to second guess other peoples actions

Yeah that junction isn't particularly dangerous I would say.
