Can anyone point me towards any good routes I can print out for a couple of days riding from Crieff?
ta
Comrie croft is worth a wee visit.
+1 for Comrie croft. Pop into the bike shop for maps and advice.
Could also try Turleum to the South which has good trails up and around. For big hills head North. From Comrie head up Glen Lednock and you can even get up Ben Chonzie if you are prepared for a hard slog. The trails between Crieff and Comrie to the North of the A85 are excellent. Just north of Crieff is The Knock which contains some great wee trails if you are wanting to pop out for an hour or so.
Comrie Croft's own trails are fantastic if you want a compact trail-centre-style ride... They seem short but there's more going on in them than in most trails twice as long.
Loop round delis cauldron from comrie is short but nice, can be done in both directions and you could head up melvilles monument for a longer ride.
If you want a full day's wild riding, you can head North from Comrie to Loch Tay and Ardeonaig, then return via Ardtalnaig. It's a decent length with more carrying than riding, but that just enhances it. Well worth it.
^ this, but there is not *that* much carrying.

Thanks very much, looks like I will be riding in a waterproof on Friday though ;-(
uh huh. We are off canoeing!
Matt - there is a fair amount of carrying if you return the route by crossing the moor at around 2000ft and taking the Ben Chonzie path as a final descent. Cracking day out!
Re your other link - I did something similar but Glen Kinglass and then Kirkton Glen, starting from Callander and returning by Sustrans.
