Visiting family in Teddington next weekend and looking for some advice. Swinley Forest and North Downs are both within 45 mins drive but which would be better considering weather conditions and no knowledge of the area. Any advice / maps on routes very much appreciated

swinley drains pretty well no matter how much rain we get as the soil is sandy loam.There are also sections of constructed hardpack too so if you can find it , it should be good. I did not manage my usuall ride this weekend due to working, but it was fine last weekend and on wednesday night, so guess it should be ok. Day off tomorrow for youngest daughters nativity play so may get over there for a ride in the afternoon evening time can report back if i get out!
