Every time I take the cables apart on the Rohlof they are an absolute git to get back together again. There is no adjustment available on the tensioner so cant make it easier that way. Is there a trick or is just the way it is and I need to MTFU?
Is this with the external click box or are you struggling with reconnecting the bayonet type connectors?
The bayonet ones, done over 3000 miles and still as tight as when it was first put together, dont expect them to stretch but would be nice not to have to use pliers to grip the ends.
First put the changer to 1 or 14 and then try to do the lower one and then the upper one. If that doesn't work then do the upper one and then then try the lower. It's always really difficult one way and fine the other on mine, it's just I can't remember which way round it is!
Thanks for that will give it a go, cheers.
