I've just bought some used XC30 forks (26" 100mm) for my son and was hoping to swap the coil spring over to an XSOFT one to better suit his weight.
Apparently it'll take 5 months to get one from Rockshox, and I was wondering if I could one for a 27.5 or 29 inch and switch the coil over, leaving the connecting rod? I'm assuming that it's just the rod that is lengthened for the bigger forks?
Anyone know? thanks! 🙂
