Hi all,
I am waiting for the delivery of a new 2015 Rockshox Sektor RL Gold DPC fork and wanted to know more about the internals. I bought it as I need the Dual Position to use the fork for 4x (in 120mm) and trail (150mm) travel settings. I'm coming off a Revelation, which wouldn't fit the new frame and having seen many Sektor upgrade threads, I wondered if the same applies to the 2015 version?
SRAM site says it's got the MoCo DNA damper, so will probably leave that alone but wanted to know about the rebound damper on the 2015 version i.e. is it dual flow / any good?
Wasn't in my 2013 Sektor and I can't see why it would be in a 2015 either. If it's supposed to be a cheaper Rev. and the chassis is the same then the internals have to be where the money was saved.
What I thought too, will probably wait until it arrives and take a peak inside. Looking forwards to riding a coil spring fork again, although the Lyrik RC2DH and Revelation forks I currently have are amazing and I haven't suffered any air leaks with any RS forks thus far.
