Anyone fiddled with one and fixed it themselves or is it back to the bike store?

It went during this exceptionally cold and muddy period, won't go up or down, started getting a bit stiff, 1st it wouldn't return, now it won't drop either, anyone?

Have you tried the button on the handle bars?

Gonna ask the obvious, so apologies, but have you checked there is 250psi in it. Mine wouldn't drop recently and that was the problem.

Ah 250psi so how would I go about checking that?

Yes, pushing the button on the handlebars was how it once worked, pushing the button and nothing happening is how I deduced it was locked, so there is a valve somewhere then?

Oh and thanks, sounds like I shall have to take it out of the seat post stem thing and have a look for myself.

Mine seized. I bled the remote button & hose using the bleed kit that came with the post. It worked fine after that.

Pressure - take the post out of the bike, invert it, the valve is in the centre of the bottom of the post. You need a shock pump (aka high pressure pump), any of your mates with an FS bike will have one, as will any bike shop.

Thanks, found the valve pumped it up, still no joy , need to go find the old boxes to see if there's a bleed kit knocking around, I don't even remember picking anything like that up with the bike...

Does the problem persist with the post not in the bike? (ie it's defo not seat clamp too tight?)

My Reverb came as part of a built bike, didn't get a bleed kit.
