[Closed] Rockshox Rev pressure problem.

Hi All - I have fitted my brand new 140mm Rockshox Revelation (from CRC - 2019 Rev). I removed one air token from the fork (it only came with one installed). Now I am turely stumped here... The fork has 10 PSI in it and feels correct for my 88kgs!! I pumped the fork to 60PSI and it turns rock solid with virutally no compression at all (few mm), at the recommended 100 PSI is basically fully locked out. My Shox Pump is correct and reading the pressure in the old fork correctly, the lock out dial is definitely open. What's going on ?

Did it work before you took out the token thing?

I honestly don't know, I removed the token before I fitted the fork. The removal of the air token should not impact this.

Remove all pressure, take off the aircap and take a look.

Reinstall token and see whether you've still the same issue?

Had similar recently with a fairly new Zeb. Air was leaking in to the lowers and it was fixed under warranty.

Air leak into the lowers is a very good guess

Remove air, re pressurise incrementally and compress the fork as you go. The negative chamber hasn't equalised.

If that doesn't do it, remove the air side top cap and cycle the fork up and down. You should be able to hear the air passing from the positive to negative chamber. This will rule out it being blocked with grease.

I just removed all the air and noticed the fork is still naturally at full extension, with no weight applied.

Thanks Davros I will try your suggestion.

If the negative was rammed full of air (and/or jammed up with grease) it would suck down when emptied

I removed the air chambre top cap (zero pressure in the fork) and they still take some force to compress. The grey topcap of the air chambre looks to be stuck right in the bottom of the fork and not rebounding. CRC are on the case and in touch with SRAM.
