[#5731476]

I'm getting a new bike next week that will come fitted with RockShox Pike RCT3's 150mm. I've a couple of questions that I can't find answers to.

1) Can I change the travel to 160mm (ie by adding/removing a spacer) or does it need its internals swapping out.

2) What fitting is the brake mount - Post or IS?

1)my 160mm pike came with spacers to reduce it down to 150, so i suspect yes

If you are talking about the two red blocks that come with the forks they are volume reducers for the air camber and have nothing to do with the travel.

Sorry but I have no idea if you can change the travel.

Pretty sure you have to change the air spring to adjust travel, the red spacers are tokens to adjust the spring rate. That's what mine came with.

And yes, post mount.

Thanks all.

Once further question. The fork is rated for upto 200mm rotor - but shimano is 203mm. So can I run a 203mm or does that invalidate the warranty, or cause a problem.
