So I'm installing 4 bottomless rings on my monarch plus rc3 debonair shock however am unsure which "sector" to slide them onto. I'll try attaching a photo to help me explain my problem but there's 3 portions under the air sleeve I've removed.
Going from the end with the shaft with the sag markings on there's an o-ring and then a small section, another o-ring then a smaller section but with only a small raised ridge then a larger sector moving onto the final o-ring and then you're at the top of the shock with the rebound adjusters etc.
I assume placement of these affects different things but can't find much online as yet as to where to place them. Many photos I can find have them all over.

As per the photo above, push/fit them as far up,as they'll go under the piggy back chamber.
Set sag as normal and keep the air pressure the same when trying various numbers of bands.
