I've had my bike for two years, but never done anything that challenging on it, just soft dirt trails etc. A couple days ago I did a new track that was all downhill, hard packed dirt and quite rocky, it shock the S$%^ out of me.
I think this mainly to do with my rebound settings being wrong and I think I have corrected it (yet to go back and try again). I also noticed that never at any point riding, or still, putting all my weight on it can I get the front suspension to travel more than about 90mm, out of it's advertised 130mm travel.
From what I can tell the only way to fix this by changing the springs in it, does anyone know where to buy these and if this something I can do myself, or should I let a bike shop do it?
While playing around I also noticed that my rear shock (RockShox Monarch) seems to rebound quite slowly, even when on it's fastest settings, and takes a full second or two on it's slowest, is this normal?
