I need to sell an entry level road bike for a friend. Is there a Tarmac World or equivalent out there? Ideally something aimed at newbies due to the bike I have to shift. Thanks

Bikeradar has quite busy classifieds but beware the moderator is a nutjob.

Local Facebook cycle classifieds a good bet too.

OK - thanks. Here and road.cc / yacf.co.uk should cover it.

Entry level road bike?

Decathlon triban 3.

That'll leave plenty of change for things like tyres*, shoes, Lycra, Lycra and more Lycra.

(*As a rule, cheap** bikes are fitted with shite tyres)

(**and plenty of expensive ones too)

Netmums - is that an example of blue sky thinking?
Ad going on STW proper forum tonight and road.cc tomorrow (can't even do stealth advertising on main forum as I don't have all details yet other than Specialized Allez 54cm).
Netmums is quite addictive once you start...
