Anyone use one?

I'm not drinking enough on my road bike and trying to up the mileage. Is it really a terrible faux pas to wear a camelbak? (not that I'm really bothered if it is or not!).

Unnecessary clutter, surely? Two bottles on the bike, maybe a third on one of those seatpost/saddle mounted cages...

I asked the same question and got the same response, but bought one anyway. I wanted to up the amount of fluid on long rides. Fit is comfy, water tends to get a bit warm, feels a bit odd at first but you soon get used to it. Seen a couple on audax rides.

I might get one of these for night rides.

It has the same disadvantage as a Camelbak. I like to monitor how much I'm drinking when on longer rides. With one of these, you'll never be able to do that. I'm also a becoming a bit wary of all these "drink more" recommendations and reckon that some folk are now over-doing it a bit.
