Anyone got any suggestions or links for roadie routes near Lake Annecy?

+1 for Thones, but TBH just head anywhere really

If you want to feel good about yourself then attack the Semnoz and see where you are on the Strava boards
At a guess a lot of the climbs logged will be after the Etape last year 🙂

Did that one last year when we nipped over for a day! Will look into the other suggestions too, will be riding with the wife so no records being set (cough) but I'll give the descents a good go! Cheers

There are a number of fabulous routes around there, mate of mine used it as a training base ahead of the etape. As posted above for example. Restaurants up in La Clusaz are very nice. Swim in the lake after your ride. Heaven.

Last years TDF/etape route for a starter. Although the semnoz climb hurts at 80 miles in!!
