Came back from Stafford (a449) around 12am & it was getting pretty grim, no doubt some more local can give a better update though? Very glad i only do a half day on Fridays!

Mushy and slushy right now but gonna freeze overnight (is just starting now) so it will be horrendous, basically. I've got a 5am start at work tomorrow - and a 21 mile drive - can't wait. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Just came back along a34 to Stafford. Getting icy now so very slippery - but also good fun!

Not too bad now, was roped at lunchtime, butt the ploughs have been through again and traffic is clearing well. The roads were ok to be fair, it was just the volume of traffic at the junctions that was the real problem. All clear now. Trails are gonna be dicey when this has frozen though. There were patches of rutted compacted ice on Wednesday night, but now those patches are hidden!

Well haven't been for a ride in too long and the snow is too much to resist. Will be making an attempt tomorrow morning!
