Road Commuter Wheels - Rim Brake

I am after a new wheelset for my commuter. Rim brake and a max tyre of 23 (I know, old frame set). I currently have Mavic Open Rims with Hope Pro 3 hubs.

The hubs have been looked after and serviced etc. It's the rims that are worn. I mean, is it worth it just getting the wheels rebuilt with new rims? Wheelset is about 7 years old now.

Anyways, I run Hunt 4 season on my winter road bike. I have been very happy with them. Worth getting a set of them for the commuter?

I'm a hope fan, so I'd use the hubs for something.

When I needed new commuter wheels last year I spent £120 on some "RDK 900" ones from a well known auction site, they've done nearly 1000km of mucky Scottish backroads now with no complaints. Can't find them for sale now though..

I suspect your biggest issue will be finding 17mm internal rim width wheels, a review suggests these are 17mm https://www.merlincycles.com/pro-build-alex-cx28-chosen-cx-road-wheels-700c-81726.html .

I've had a rear https://www.merlincycles.com/pro-build-alex-cx28-chosen-cx-disc-wheels-700c-81721.html on my hybrid commuter for most of this year and it's been great.
