Road brakes...help!
Building up bike for mate's lad. Stuck on new cables inc outers.
Front brake lever does not spring back as well as the as the rear and calliper seems sluggish.
Bike was a box of bits so no idea if brakes worked before.
So....calliper spring/pivot or does the brake/shifter also have a brake lever return spring?
Old 9 speed Campagnolo Chorus......

It has a mild return spring, I 'think' but most of the return in in the caliper. Just excercise the caliper unattached to any cables to see it thats the problem.

Also make sure the cables are routed correctly and have no tight bends in them

Lube all of the linkages and cables thoroughly.
