Just wondered if they're any good - seem to be lighter than shimano £ for £

Lighter and work well.

But the bearings eventually seize and Ritchey's stock answer is "return them to a dealer for servicing". No thanks - I prefer something I can service myself. I still like the Micro Road version. They get an easier life than MTB stuff, so might be worth a punt.

Oh - a Ritchey cleat will work in a Shimano pedal, but your not guaranteed that the opposite is true.

The outland ones are pretty good too, the Elites are proper spangly with sealed bearings and nice and cheap on the bay

I had/have some of the wcs ti jobbies, light and expensive. Then the bearings started feeling not right. To get at the bearings i needed to open the Allen key nut which is placed conveniently on the end of the pedal and made of cheese thus prone to damage and round off.
After trying these and xpedo ti

i

m now back on slightly heavier xtr

w

d stay clear.

Hmmm - I see a pattern emerging....

To be fair to Ritchey, I'm sure I read somewhere that the new versions are user-serviceable.
