[Closed] Rim Tape size question

On an MTB two wraps of electrical tape is perfectly sufficient to be fair. BT as long as it fits over the spoke holes you'll be fine, there's no science to it. 🙂

Make sure that the tape covers the bed of the rim. I think its important the the tape goes as close to the bead hooks as possible. I have 35mm ext rims and had to go round twice with the tape, once starting from the left side and then another time from the right with both layers overlapping in the middle. I think it's important to get as close to the hooks as possible to air up the tyres.
