Other than the Trek Stache 5 what other options are there?

I've got a stache 5, super fast bike.
what about Surly ECR, depends on what you want the bike to do.

if you get stuck, you can buy my 17" stache, and i'll go buy another fat bike.

Stiff sell Nine ROS 9+ complete bikes (and custom options on others -such as a rigid fork on a Sir 9). Not cheap though but look nice!

Depending on what kind of special you want, buying a hardtail selling the bouncing fork and buying a rigid one would open a lot of options

Thanks evilsovereign but I'd need the 19.5 flavour. Like the Niner but not the price. Salsa El Mar/Fargo interest me too. I don't want a full fatty. Thought about the hard tail put rigid forks on option but I'd rather a frame that was rigid geometry specific.

Why not buy the parts and get the LBS to build up exactly what you want? Something like a Singular Swift might suit and if you're careful I'm reckon you could keep the cost reasonable.

[EDIT - Just looked at the Singular FAQ page and they do offer custom full builds (no idea of cost though)].

Pinnacle Ramin - 29er and 27.5+ versions now. Or a complete Stooge from Charlie.

You can add the Kona Unit as an off the shelf rigid option

Standard answer seems to be Swift/ El Mar for XC/ ground covering, Stooge/ Unit/ Stache for fun times, Niner if you have more money than sense 🙂

but I'd rather a frame that was rigid geometry specific.

What's this now 😉

Ragley TD-1 was a fabulous bike and rigid specific. Original Genesis Fortitude or Longitude? Jones?

Stooge from CTBM comes in at a porky 35lbs. Great bike and can swap out parts for better as you go, or ask Charlie to fit a lighter wheelset from the off

Or, there's arguably the better performing Stache 5 - 2 brilliant bikes

Double size option from Stooge imminent

Just got the Voodoo Marasa - a cheap bike at the minute.

Have put CX tyres on it at the mo so can do a bit of road, bridleway, etc, but there's enough clearance I reckon to get some 2.1's installed
