Anyone had a Ribble branded headset (oem integrated campag compatible) for sometime - any good? Had a mindset in my speccy and never touched it and still fine - used to cheap Aheadsets in my MTB's. Me thinks road headsets are not continually bathed in mud and hosed down so last longer anyway.

This one in particular:[img] [/img]

I've got something very similar looking branded Alpina which works fine on my cross bike. As you say, road headsets usually last ages even when cheap and badly abused.

still not built? I did another hundred or so miles over the weekend. The weather was great! Standard chainset has now been tested on all of the biggest local hills and I can confirm it is hard work - but the bike makes me want more!
