I'm very much a short distance pootler but I know that there are plenty of folk on here who do long distance tours and suchlike. I stumbled across a nice article on BBC travel about the Rhine Cycle Route and thought that the epic adventurers might be interested; it looks like quite the challenge.

We didn’t complete it for a couple of reasons, but it was enjoyable.
