forks too skinny for head tube on the OP bike. The fork crown/head tube interface just looks pinched 🙁

Gravel racing is becoming big in America. Salsa have ditched cross bikes in favour of this activity.
It's a lovely looking bike (the Salsa, that is, not the Kona, which is gopping), but clearance looks a bit tight at the back for UK cross racing.
