Do the 380mm & 420mm both have 125mm drop? 380 would be the right length for my Pitch, but don't want shortchanged on the drop

The drop is the same, the inserted seat post is different. If you don't need the extra then keep to 380mm

Can you cut the seat post if needed or is the full post sealed?

Don't think I'd want to cut the post on a Reverb.

is it possible to shim the seat tube to fit a reverb..... according to RS this is not possible but I cant see why not?

I have shimmed mine. I run a 30.9 post in a 31.6 frame & it's fine 🙂
