For those retro heads out there running a triple up front.... I need to replace mine. Any recommendations? Doesn't need to be bling or amazingly light. Shining steel about the best bang for buck?

+1 for Deore. Steel chainrings might not be overly light but they last longer and I can't tell the difference shifting gears between my Deore chainring bike and my XT bike.

Deore for a tenner off CRC, what I use on my XC race bike

(in 36T guise as a double set up)

I'm a weightweenie but still, deore steel. Not that much heavier, lasts forever- but also, shifts well forever. Posh rings shift better when new, then they wear a little but and they stop working as well. Deore keeps its shape so it keeps its shifting.
