Well it was bound to happen eventually, on my way back from work today i had a colossally stupid off and put a 2 inch hole in the knee of my waterproof over trousers, can anyone recommend a quick cheap fix?

Get some seam grip

best quality duct tape. If the corners peel, superglue them.

Get some sail repair tape from a yacht chandlery. Sticks like sh.t. Otherwise kite shops supply a repair tape that is nearly as good.
