Purveyors of lunacy such as this,

This,

And now, this

Another of the semi-e genre.

Is nice. I like.

Hmm, not completely hideous as far as ebikes go.
I seem to remember them being very pricey, so can not imagine ever owning one of their ebikes.

It’s looking promising for e-lite, with the new orbea as well, I liked my Scott, I like my levo but 5kg lighter with a 375 battery I reckon I would be good for me, hopefully by the time my warranty runs out they’ll have sorted it out.

A chap I used to ride with had a Rotwild.. II think it was an RFR 01, it was quite a thing.. I had a GT STS at the time,

we both had duel crown Rockshox judys (the purple ones!) and hope C2 brakes.

We lost contact a while ago but I think he still has the rottie!!

Just had a look at their website. Only 1 model left without a battery, and that's getting old now. Seen a few euro brands going this way. Shame as Rotwild made some cool non electric bikes.

Yeah, it seems like just with so many other things, they've led off with full-fat ebikes which are great, but probably not for everyone, and now tht they've swept up the early adopters they're looking for the more sensible middle grounds. I've always been "e-curious" but these are way more relevant to me.

That said, they're still expensive which might be a barrier for a lot of people- not that they're <too> expensive but a lot of people will probably balk at paying "full E" price for "half an E"

I'd rather not.

For years now Rotwild have been producing some very impressive E-bikes, but what do you expect from the Germans. This thing looks like an absolute beast and I'd love to have a play.

Ah Rotwild, one of our group had one when we were 15/16.

Everyone else had hardtails, it was like riding a sofa down hill!

That E375 looks just about spot on for my tastes.
Slack, not too reachy, decent balanced chainstay length etc.

£11,500.. Bed thoroughly soiled!

but I do like the new approach of these 'e-lite' bikes. I have no interest in them currently, but if I had to, that's the type of bike I would like.
