Taking the afternoon off work to go for a ride, anyone confirm where near Edinburgh is currently relatively snow free, the snow has all disappeared in the city but not sure about outside, normally I would enjoy a wee snow ride but I really can't be bothered with it today! Anywhere max of an hours drive.

was up the lomonds last night its quite snowy
took my 29er and dunno if it was the bike or just"one of those rides"
but it was kin ace fun
never ridden my 29er in the snow before but it seems to be the ideal bike for it

I was (walking) up the Pentlands this morning and it's still plenty icy in places - e.g. Puke Hill.

Aye Pentlands was snowy on Wednesday night for a ride - I imagine everywhere will have a bit of snow still. I'll be giving Gypsy Glen a shot on Sunday. Hopefully rideable ๐Ÿ™‚

rode the pentlands last night in the snow and dark and fog. wouldn't recomend that for many reasons. including really deep snow on north face and slippy slushy snow on the south (allermuir area)
