I'm currently using my MTB helmet for road, and was thinking I might buy a road specific helmet for commuting and whatnot. Any recommendations? I'm fairly happy to spend money on a helmet, so fire away.

For road, get one of the newer aero ones that doesn't look too silly. They're more than well enough vented for UK weather and if you can save a few watts then it'd be silly not to. Giro Synthe or Kask Protone being the obvious choices.

I like Specialized helmets, they seem to fit my head. Currently using an S3 and a Prevail, both look good and fit well.
I have a Giro Foray. Cheap, quite low profile and available in some rather fluro commuter friendly colours. Thoroughly recommended.

At that sort of pace don't bother with a big vented helmet. Protone, Synthe, Air Attack, etc. Whichever make you get on best will likely do a suitable one.
Lazer Helium - don't get on with their gel pads unless I'm wearing a cap. Good helmet though
Catlike Whisper Plus - VERY vented, comfortable, makes you look like Toad from Super Mario though

You know how it is, once bitten twice shy. They're expensive to find out you can't use them.
The poc fits well, vents well, is lightweight and seems well made.
