accomodation in afan. 4 people going (two couples) not too bothered about anything other than it being comfy ish, and that theres somewhere to cook.

budget is reasonably important.

I await the collective wisdom of STW massive.

Ta.

fantastic steak restaurant attached, there goes your budget!
They do a fantastic fillet steak £16, and whole chicken/pasta meals for under a £10, so all budgets met.
Double £70 and a very good size.

Nice resturant as well I had a huge mixed grill for £18.50 but plenty on the menu for under a tenner.

Might be worth a look at the Afan Lodge that looks really nice...
I have stayed in the Rose Cottage an it is quite good, but I wouldnt say good for couples as its got bunk beds from what I remember.

I can second Green Lanterns. Stayed there a couple of times. Good value, pub on the doorstep and the food is pretty good.

Afan Lodge - brilliant place - going for 3rd time in Oct and they've only been open since Feb 09!!
