As my new 'cross frame takes 700c and 650b wheels (up to 2.1" / 55c) I'd quite like to get a second pair of wheels for general larking about on. They don't need to be the ultimate in lightweight or bling, just reliable, 15/12mm thru axle and under £200 - as far under as possible without being made of lead.
Any recommendations? thanks
I've had some of these in the past and they were superb for the money.

Having ridden 700c with 30,35 and 40mm tyres, and 650b with 45 and 47mm my assessment is...
650b are way overrated. They feel slower, don't ride as well anywhere, and are heavier.
thanks - to add info, I have some nice 700c wheels with 37c gravelkings and they are great for my mixed surface commute and local bridleways but I'm curious to test something wider and knobblier over the autumn and winter - and to be able to swap wheels rather than tyres.
