Need some stainless spokes to build a reasonably light front wheel.
DT Revolution the way to go?
Will be part of 32 spoke build.
I use revs a lot for my own wheels. But also look at cx- ray or super comp if you need somthing a bit stronger
If you have plenty of money then Sapim cx-ray are excellent.
I'd put DT revs at the weeny/xc end of the spectrum.Sapim Cx-rays at the bloody expensive and D-lights in the reasonable weight/cost/strength sweet spot (only found out about them about 6 months ago and I've been building wheels for money for 10 years!!! ๐ณ )
No advantage to CX-Rays over Revs in terms of wheel strength. I'd never heard of D-lights until you mentioned them just now, and they look like a reasonable compromise if you think Rev/Laser spokes might be a little too flimsy.
Reckon I might get away with the Rev's. 73kg and for a little single speed project.
Dt Swiss DB Comp for me - lovely to build with and strong as an ox.
Cheers
