Issue 21 I think. Cultural Compression by Mike Ferrantino, when he guest edited the mag in 2005. In fact, pretty much that whole issue.

My favorite article was in Issue 1, a reprint of an article first published in Dirt Rag Mag back in 95. Which you can read here

issue 4 Minneapolis Mayhem I really enjoyed.

There's also an interview with Ferrentino in there, for the haters.

+1 to the Jenn Hopkins Great Divide one (best article yet in my opinion), and there was the Fish Out Of Water one where the two guys built their own bike frames with Dave Yates. No idea which issue though, probably 30-ish?

The best magazine was the one the boys gave away free* at SITS back in the day(TM). There was an article about shoes, which i think set the trend for the magazines future!

*Free stuff is always the best - FACT 😉

Issue 47's 'Blame the Dog' column, sub-titled 'The Death (/Murder?) of Nuance' was one of my favourite ever articles - just struck a proper cord with me. Have even cut-out-&-kept the pages...

That's my favourite too. 🙂

I can't remember which issue it was but there was a short article about 2 roadies catching and passing a mountain biker on a commute. Sounds boring but the article was written with the whole roadie conversation as though it were between fighter pilots, it was so funny and well observed!
Now if someone can please tell me which issue that was in that'd be great...

Issue 19 Mr Legs. Does our archive go back that far? It seems to. It was called 'Prey' by Jon Wyatt.
