Put a pair of RS Reb SL (from Merlin) on my Girlfriends 456, very nice, light, smooth, look nice, remote lockout (for racing) and only cost £240. They on at £270 now but if you spend over £250 they give you a 10% discount, hence the £240... absolute bargain. Don't know if you can get any better forks brand new for that price.
I think they might have some SIDs that would come in under £300 with a 10% discount
