I commute on my MTB most days - usually in bib shorts / baggies / DH short-sleeve jersey. I've got a nice merino base layer for when it gets properly cold, but it's still too warm for that atm. In the current weather though, my arms get properly cold with a short-sleeve top.

Any recommendations on a L/S jersey (or arm warmers??) that can fix my cold arm woes? Not a DH jersey ideally - don't want to get drafts up the sleeves - but want it to not look ludicrous with a pair of baggy shorts 🙂

I have a Salomon Trail Zip Tech long sleeve that's ideal for days like today. Very non-roadie looking. 🙂

Ellis Brigham are out of stock, but they do have http://www.ellis-brigham.com/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi?prod_code_in=240119 going cheap. (If they do actually have stock)

How about popping into your local Sports Direct and getting a couple of long sleeve Karrimor technical running tops, typically reduced from £25 to around £6.99. Then you'll have a clean one to wear when the other one's dirty and enough money left over from a fifty quid note for a wrap or two of heroin 😉

I don't think dealing is strictly allowed on here mate.

I would get some arm warmers. They're great for commuting, when it's often cold in the morning but warm when you are coming home. You just carry them in your pocket on the way home. Also worth taking even if you can manage without them, as you then got it covered if the temperature drops during the day.
