I need a new pump preferably a mini pump. Last one from Bontrager lasted me 18 years. Something similar would be ideal.

  • Silca Tattico or Gravelero. I've both - complaints. Bit expensive but frequently on sale direct from Silca

The Topeak mini morphs are great and spare parts are available if needed.

How small? Or really, how do you carry it? Jersey pockets or frame mounts put pretty big limits on but if you're a camelbak sort of person then it doesn't make much difference to be a little bit longer, and you get a far better pump. Anything with a foot step and a hose is just instantly in a different league to traditional direct valve mount stuff.

Truflo's Minitrax or Minitrack 2-step are superb (the 2-step is sort of horribly plasticky and falls apart all the time, but at the same time it's cheap and light you can almost always put it back together- and it is just fantatstic at inflating tyres), Topeak Mountain Morph is good (but about a million years old). Lezyne do lovely ones but I don't like the heads.

I have both the Topeak mini morph and the Lezyne micro floor drive - both work great.

I personally dislike my Mini Morph with the foot rest. it seemed like such a great idea. But the foot rest broke in action not long after I bought it. Yes, I was able to buy a replacement part. But actually, a bigger problem is that it’s really hard to use the connector while holding the pump down with your foot.

So personally I like a pump which attaches directly to the valve. And I really value a fold out handle - I find a t handle so much easier to use. My pump is not expensive, but I like it so much, I bought another for my hip pack. It’s this one by BBB:

Edit: and it has both presta and shraeder connectors without the need to disassemble the head and swap round.
