I got 300 squid , which i need to spend wisely, any help advice please on what good , whats pants, i know 300s not a lot in bike terms , but its all i got for a second bike , cheers.

What do you actually want it to do?
I paid £200 for my old Carrera Kraken, lightly used, there's lots of good bargains out there because people buy bikes in spring and tell themselves they're going to ride every week and then ride the thing twice and put it up the back of the garage.
If it's got to be new then the Carrera Vulcan will be one of the top options.
