I'm willing to spend my hard earned on the smoothest, bestest shifting middle ring out there as part of a double + bash setup.
What should I spend it on?
Suggestions please.
Was going to get a Middleburn slickshift 34t unless somebody tells me otherwise?

Aim for one with 34 teeth. This will be a good start.

Forgot to say, I'm running a 22t small ring as well. Should I go with SLX then or Deore? I've heard reports of having to file bit off etc etc.
