Snapped my collar bone skiing 5 weeks ago. It felt like it was healing OK and I was looking forward to getting my fitness back just as spring rolls in here in NZ.
Todays X-rays were not promising though. I still have many bone fragments which are simply not fusing together. I'm facing at least 6 more weeks off the bike, possibly more if they decide to operate.

I can already feel what little fitness I had rapidly diminishing so I think I need to look into a turbo trainer type thing.
What should I look out for and what should I avoid? I don't really want to spend stoopid money on one as I'm hoping I'll only use it for a couple of months at most.

Cheers
Dan

Try e bay or a cycling forum and try and get s/h one, as many people buy and give up on them after a couple of goes. Look for makes like taxc, cyclops, minoura and elite.

The Tacx Sirius is a good budget model. Tacx flow if you've got the cash.
