Photos are from a mountain rescue last weekend off the Clogwyn y Person arete in Snowdonia. at the stance below the most difficult section were a young couple on the phone to mountain Rescue. We were requested by the Llanberis MRT to rescue the couple. They had become crag fast unable to climb the crux and dare not descend. We started preperations to lower everyone back down the route. Then the MRT phoned back and said for us not to bother as the RAF helicopter was coming to get them.

Looks like you ride in them?

B.A.Nanna, it's a great photo- unusual perspective, you don't often see a view down onto a hovering/flying seaking.

Thinking about it i've done a fair bit in seakings, day/night, winter summer, winching etc. Love em..

this is the same day if your into helicopters, theres a few more on there

cheers

I tend to agree. So taking it a step further may the mag should use forum members pics when they're good enough. That way the photo's becomes less centred around a smallish group and reflect what the readers/forum members ride/like/feel is relevant.

I'm sure people would like seeing their better pics in print. Could call it 'Readers Rides' or 'Readers Lives' ๐Ÿ™‚

Or do they do that already? - if so I wasn't aware of it.

They used to run the Gallery feature, I sent in more than a few images but none ever ran. It's not run for a while though

Didn't know those were readers pics.

Some were from pros, some from readers. There used to be an invite to send pics to a certain address somewhere in the content / details area

I've had a few photos published in the mag, but that was a couple of years ago now. I'll stick them up in photo thread ๐Ÿ™‚

I was bought USA Dirtrag, great pics in there again look like riders pics not necessarily professionals. I have always liked the Orange adverts with peoples bikes, possibly STW could look at a themed page? Alps trips/Mud rides/Race pics including before and after and so on. TBH one of the best articles was Chipps Go Fargo brill and then the blog on big mountains. Photo wise I think MR Barnes of Bogtrooters are excellent on the whole and Mr Simon Rallis on his recent advetures, they have made me smile no end! The Keilder 100s pics as well. They all have a sense of reality and a 'commmunity' element, I can relate to these pics more than some of the freeride gods one....outstanding as they are....not as immediate to me.
Go on STW.........readers pics....
